26May Another cheap Focus lever follow focus.
Geared follow focus setups can be costly. Another option is to attach something to your lens. Or for $8 you can buy . It’s basically a tie wrap with a hole and an adapter that allows you to attach a rod. The rod gives you subtle control over lens focusing.
It’s a good idea and its very cheap. If you don’t want to spend the money on a this could be a good way to go.

The first job I got outta of tech school was as a machinist I did this kind of work for 5 years and then worked my way into a job as a mechanical designer. Today I’m a photographer and filmmaker of 26 years.. 2 things…. knurl is pronounced nurl…. the k is silent…. second, you can use a center in your tailstock to push the threading die onto your part, that why it is straight. I can’t believe you can make a profit selling these parts for $8 …. I bought one of these from your competitors and they use a screw for the handle, it works find pushing down, put pulling back the plastic bends like a piece of cooked spaghetti and is of no use.
