28Dec Used gear watch: E-photo DSLR RIG on ebay.
Just getting back into the grove with my daily ebay scan for used gear and strange new products. I thought It might be helpful to start posting good deals I find on random used gear. Let me know what you think of the idea, posts will start with “Used gear watch:” followed by the item.
If you’re still hunting for a DSLR rig the E-photo DSLR Rig normally runs about $165 on amazon. It’s not to bad of a starter rig and could be good for parts if you need handles or extra 15mm Rails for your rig. Right now there is one for sale used on ebay with a buy it now price of . Could be a good find if you’re on a small budget.

Cool. Looks good for the price. I don’t think i will get a follow focus. Should I go for the cheap cowboystudio shoulder rig, or this thing, if i’m not using a FF or mattebox or anything?
I want to save money, but if it’s worth it, I’ll get this.

Depends on what you want to upgrade to in the future I suppose.

I bought the cowboy studio rig and if you put any weight on it the plastic starts to wear and mine eventually broke. I have decided to stop buying cheep equipment because I wil just end up replacing it anyways. if you have a good camera and good lenses might as well get good suport systems for that. save your money for something better it will be worth it.

I have had this little guy for a while now with the follow focus and I love it. Has a little bit of stability issues since the blots are very tiny in a couple places, but for the price it is wonderful! I love it, highly recommend for a low budget just don’t expect the world.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I bought it with the ‘buy it now’. When it arrived yesterday, the seller also threw in a matte box. The matte box was missing a screw but it was nothing a trip to the hardware store and some pocket change couldn’t replace.
This is real nice entry level stuff for those of us on a limited budget. Gotta start somewhere.
Thanks again.
