The Cinevate Medusa Cage is one of those products that I’ve always liked the look of. The idea of using a Ram Mount 1 inch ball system with custom machined handles and mounts for a camera rig always seemed like an interesting design. But at a price of $589.98 new, I would probably never consider buying one. Thankfully the used price for this rig isn’t out of control.
Right now on ebay, this $590 camera cage has a starting price of just $180 used and a buy it now of $280 with one day left. That’s a very good deal if you’re in the market for a camera cage. If you’re interested you can check out the auction here

…i think cinevate makes some incredible gear…but their prices are highway robbery just like zacuto…i am particularly liking the simplis line, but they are raping people’s wallets with those prices…but when i saw your review of ram ball connectors, i realised that it all they were doing…so i tapped and threaded some 1/4 20 holes in my tripod plate adapters to mimic it with pretty good results…i considered making a medusa cage…maybe after i replace my drill press
